UPDATE FROM PUMA – OCTOBER 13TH, 2021
October 2021 update from Steve Simpson, Director of PUMA (Pennsylvania United Medical Association)
Please pray for zero interference from the Government in Nepal as we continue our evangelism and church planting. Also, pray that somehow they would stop their new restrictions and clampdowns on outdoor evangelism, ie, Movies at night and the like. We’ve been doing that type of evangelism for over 20 years. Now in some districts, they are completely stopping it.
In 2015, Nepal experienced a horrendous 8 point (Richter scale) earthquake. In Barpak Nepal (6 thousand feet elevation), the epicenter, there were a few Believers. About 2 years ago, a young man from Barpak came to our Pastor’s training center in Kathmandu. He did very very well, completed the entire course and graduated several months ago. He returned to Barpak, remodeled his fathers 2nd floor in their home in that town. He soon had over 40 people each Saturday coming to that tiny upstairs room to hear the Gospel Preached. On October 4th, PUMA made settlement on a piece of ground in that village of Barpak. In about 2 weeks we will begin construction of new “as big as we can” church in that very town!
Pray for Pastor Marcus, his father and family. Pray there is minimal or no opposition and pray that ALL of Barpak comes to Christ!!
Hallelujah!
Thank you Calvary Delta
Steve Simpson

Update from Pastor Lewis, Lorca, Spain – July 6th, 2021
Dear church family,
I want to thank you for constantly praying for us, we have seen the Lord's hands in our lives.
There isn't much new to say. Our church keeps growning in the Word, we are still studying the wonderful book of Acts, it's been a great blessing to us.
I also see a loving atmosphere in the church, which I see as a sign of the work of the Holy Spirit. We also have new people coming to church, which is great.
As you know we have the food bank to help people as the Lord provides, in the last month we haven't been able to help much, but we are still helping and that is a blessing in this time where many people here are in great need.
We still are facing challenges. Our economic situation is very tight, there's times where we don't know how we will pay our bills (rent, taxes, insurance, etc). But the Lord always surprises us providing for the needs.
Another challenge comes from the pressure that we are facing as Christians in Spain. It's becoming harder and harder to share and even live our faith in this society. Our government continues approving laws that promote homosexuality as a lifestyle, forcing schools to teach and promote this ideology. I think we are for this reason, to share the Gospel in love so that people know the truth and truth sets them free. People are in darkness, so we know they need to know the truth in order to come to the light. So pray for us so that the Lord will give us boldness to share the good news in Lorca, and praying for our city so that their eyes would be open.
God bless you,
Lewis Gonell
